Thoughts from your President, Maxine I have had a somewhat quieter time in the latter part of August, after Mary Sumner Day. The Lord is good, giving us time for a rest. Although MSD wasn’t hugely well attended, there were a satisfying number there to share in celebrating our founder in worship, fellowship and looking at the present and future in a prayerful way. I hope those who came enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed spending the time with them. I had some positive feedback at the end and hope to use the prayer station format at members’ meetings going forward as it will fit very well with the new triennial theme “Join us and Join in” With love Maxine x
