Thoughts from your President, Maxine It was great to see so many of you at the Service of Thanksgiving and AGM last week when I told you that I had been to the Canterbury Diocesan Presidents’ Conference and Sheran Harper spoke to us for the last time as WWP. I didn’t imagine, even as a DP, that I would actually get to meet her, but I have done so several times which has been a great privilege, and she has been such an inspiration to me. What an honour it was to be invited to join a special choral evensong in her honour at St Matthews, Westminster after the conference to bid her farewell. Her final message to us all accompanies this newsletter. Please pray for her continuing journey with God through Mothers’ Union. Please pray also for her successor Kathleen Snow who is not going to have the best of starts to her presidency as she has just lost her mother. Have a special and blessed Christmas and may God be with you in 2025. With love Maxine x
