St Pilomena

St Philomena’s remains were discovered in May 1802 in a tomb in the Catacomb of St Priscilla in Rome. Three tiles which enclosed the tomb bore the inscription “Pax Tecum Filumena” meaning “Peace be with you, Philomena”. Meal for learning

Last night a group of us met in the Chapter House beside Chelmsfor Cathedral to enjoy each others company and a hearty meal made up of a meat or vegetarian shepherd’s pie and vegetables in aid of the MU’s project entitled ‘English for Women’.
